John Ford Highland Pipe Band

Pipe Major (WO1) - Bill Sandbach
	Pipe Major Bill Sandbach started the band in 1966. He is still the senior Pipe Major and plays regularly with us. Indeed it is common on a hot July day for Bill to turn around and ask the younger members how they are doing. He is indeed a strong leader and a figure head of the band.
Pipe Major (WO2) and Treasurer - Jim Oates
	Jim Joined the band in 2000. He was promoted to Pipe Sergeant in 2004 and just recently, 2008, accepted the position of Pipe Major alongside Bill to assist in the running of the band. Jim spent 16 years in the British Army and a further 4 years with the Essex Police in England before moving to the United States. During his time in the British Army he has been attached to The Royal Highland Fusiliers, Royal Artillery, 3 years with the Brigade of Gurkhas in Hong Kong and many other tours of duty world wide. Jim also created and does all the updates to this web site.
Band President - Dave Massey
No picture yet	Dave is a fairly new member. He joined us in 2007. This year he accepted the position of Band President. A job which he has taken to heart and is doing a fine job.
Band Business Manager - Clare Kujath
	Clare has been with us longer than most other band members. She spent many years as Band President. In 2008 she has taken over a new position within the band. She is now our Business Manager. A role which suits her very well indeed.
Quartermaster - Tony Thomas
	Tony is another long term band member. In 2006 he took over the role of Quartermaster. He does a fine job as it is now impossible to get anything from stores.
Band Secretary - Evan Gagnepain
